On October 6, 2008, Sergei and Valya Boutenko were in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. In this video you see how Sergei goes on a fantastic and very inspiring nature hike in the Vondelpark.
He reveals the ancient secrets of stinging nettles, where and how to pick them and how to eat them.
I just made this most delicious green smoothie. I’ll write down the recipe for you so you can enjoy this healthy and delicious drink.
Ingredients
1 bunch dandelion greens
1 lemon (peeled)
1 large apple
1 cucumber
Directions
You can do two things. Juice them or blend them.
If you juice them. Run all ingredients into your Greenstar juicer. Drink and Enjoy.
Or, you can blend the greens. Put all ingredients in the blender and add enough pure water so all ingredients are all under water. Blend well and drink.

Natural News has posted a transcript of a call that Kevin Gianni and I had on community a few months ago. I think you’ll enjoy reading it especially if you’re someone who feels like they are on this journey “alone”.
“Community is one of the biggest things. And for a lot of individuals
out there that feel like they’re on this journey by themselves, the
number one thing I can say to you is, instead of waiting for somebody
else to start community, maybe you could start that community. Maybe
you could be that leader that could just get a few people together.
Even if you start with just two people. It’s all about the
conversations that happen, and it’s all about sharing and growing
together as a community.”
Our guest today is Steve Pavlina. Steve is one of the internet’s most recognized and successful bloggers. Every month over two million people visit stevepavlina.com to read Steve’s unique take on personal development, which Steve calls “Personal Development for Smart People”.
In addition to his internet fame, Steve has been featured and quoted as a personal development expert in everything from the New York Times to The Guardian to USA Today.
In January of this year Steve started a public raw food diet trial in an attempt to see what sorts of results he could produce in 30 days. Although the first week was a bit rough, ultimately the trial was a success. As you can imagine, this has brought a lot of positive attention to the raw food community. Google the term “Raw Food” and you’ll see Steve’s blog as on of the top 10 links.
When someone like Steve is successful on raw foods, you definitely want to talk to him. Steve is so in-tune with his feelings and meticulous with his study of what works that even an 8 year raw foodie like me can learn a thing or two from his experiences.
The Raw Spirit Festival held in Sedona, AZ is the years biggest raw food festival - anywhere. It’s a great time to get together with the raw food family, eat amazing food, hear the world’s best speakers, and just enjoy the warm gushy lovey feeling that is so present there.
Last year I put together a wrap-up video of the festival with a combination of music and pictures. I worked hard on it and released in just days after the festival. This year I decided to do it a little different. I was speaking at the festival this year so filming was really out of the question so I decided to give my perspective of the festival, along with some people pictures of my raw family. I hope you enjoy the film and pictures.

Low carb desserts don’t have to be boring. It’s hard to believe, but you can have a low carbohydrate dessert that is also sugar free, without resorting to plain fruit. You can even have chocolate. All that you have to do is ask.
A low carb recipe is a great way to practice healthy eating lifestyle and diet. A low carb dish is not necessarily for those who are on a diet or want to lose their weight.
In most countries in the world, fruit is more highly sought after then candy, because it is not only sweet, but good for you. In American we have lost sight of the value of fruit. Fruit offers us an opportunity to experience healthy eating, but in a tasty way. Let’s explore a few types of fruits and all the cooking and eating possibilities that they hold.
